The Annual trip to Pumpkin Country

So I haven't blogged in some time. No excuses...

We went on our annual trip to Pumpkin Country!
The beautiful countryside!
Wittmond Hotel...
These mums were amazing. They were 3 for $15! Not too bad if you ask me.
Caramel Puff Corn... Phillip loves this stuff. We can't find it anywhere except for at the little store on the side of the road. If anyone has a recipe or knows where I can find this... Please let me know!
So there used to be this General Store that we would go to years ago. It had closed down a couple years ago. Well about 5 months ago a man re-opened it with a 1940's theme. He has a soda fountain and makes sodas like they did back in the day. I thought it was really cool.
There were all kinds of antiques throughout the store. This cash register is from 1902 I think?
I couldn't resist photographing this chair. If it would have been for sale I would have been tempted to buy it! I just love the fabric on the seat.
They make kettle corn there too.
They also made gelato there. They let you try the different flavors before purchasing. I tried almost all of them. I couldn't decide between tiramisu or lemon. I chose lemon. It was so refreshing and different than ice cream.
We went to Eckert's Apple Orchard. I got some apples to make a pie and it was delicious!
Phil trying to be a "cowboy."
The family minus my brother.

A candy apple! Yum! I haven't had one of these in years and years. I got a mini one. It was just right.
Oh how I love fall.
